Feels like spring
Finally–a ride after work that felt like you won’t get shy away by dark or cold. It all felt like I was in a dream and I know I will remember this ride for a long time.
So this is how it went…
It’s almost 16:00 and we are dressing up quite lightly. It doesn’t look like that on the photos but it’s pretty warm outside. Sun is hidden behind the clouds, but you can feet its power. Even birds chirping makes you think spring in your head. The route is a mystery and we're gonna create it as we pedal.
It has been raining earlier this week so greasy conditions were expected but at the same time nothing we would be scared of.
We’ve adapted the rout creation to the sunset–even though there won't be a super beautiful one. We still enjoyed it in the middle of a field looking into the flats of Haná. Rolling hills in the distance with multiple layers of clouds each shining with different color.
As the sun was going down behind the horizon we carried on with our route still looking over our shoulders into the sunset and the colors–the lower it got the more richer the colors became. This is something that won't get ever old–watching the sunset.
Time to get some gloves one. Romča found out her gloves developed an unfortunate vent option over the time. Well, they might need some fixing to do.
Dark came fast but we didn’t mind. There was a reward awaiting us at the end of our ride. We decided we’re going to celebrate this ride with the first beer at our favorite watering hole–Rampa.
There you go, a ride with a spring feeling. I know it doesn’t look like that on the photos at all but I felt like that way.
