Specialized Crux 2022

The most of the people who know me are familiar with the fact that I got mesmerized by gravel riding. I love the freedom that this bike gives you… you’re simply free to roam where ever you like to. Couple years ago when I bought my first gravel bike I didn't know that. I had some kind of a feeling that I need an “escape machine” but it got unleashed when I first sat on the bike and off I went.

Fast forward to present day, because I don't want to bore you with the stories what I explored with the first bike and so on. That's why you're not here for. This year I built up a new gravel whip for upcoming adventures and this is it!

I took me about 3 months to get all the bits and pieces together to fully build up this gravel rambling machine of mine. Why I chose the this frame and these parts? That’s a good question!

First of all, I've never ridden a full carbon bike so naturally I wanted to try. Then the frame properties are all to my liking. Tire clearance, stiffness, simplicity and the paint job is killer. Last reason is, it was the only bike available in the current situation.

Components are pretty straight forward, the pictures say it all. Some of them were hell to get but at the end I consider myself pretty lucky to get my hands on a stuff I wanted. I not gonna describe every single component, bikes are meant to be ridden not yap about, hahaha.

I would like to thank to Kamil & FDF Bike Shop for helping get stuff for my bike and also for a sweet service where I could put it all together. Also huge thanks to Kája from Radotín to getting me some crucial parts. Lastly a the biggest thanks to my girlfriend Romča for tolerating my 3 bikes at home.
