Sunset and -4°C

A classic Tuesday's ride with Pavel who is up any adventure. Today we were lured out by the sun and its beautiful sunset. I kinda knew once the sun finds a new home for a night behind the horizon we will face some low temperature. But that risk was taken to consideration and we were ready to freeze out our limbs for the sake of a ride, views and good time.

There were two viewpoints waiting for us on this route. One I knew about, because I was there multiple times. The other one was kinda hard to assess–I've never been there, no Street View and quite far so I had no clue if we're gonna catch any light.

Lesser known places are always good. They keep you vigilant with new houses to look at, different dogs barking at you, new potholes on the road and so on. There are just too much stuff to pay attention to. Personally it's one of the reasons I ride my bike–I can pedal to places where I wouldn't drive or walk and that's awesome.

We made it to the second viewpoint little bit late but still with some daylight left to enjoy the view. You could feel cold crawling under your clothes as we were standing still, talking and enjoying what sun has left us.

The last light disappeared rapidly and in a bling of an eye we were surrounded by darkness accompanied only with our lights. Temperature went low as -4°C which my hands did not like at all. The beautiful thing about riding bikes is you have endure and overcome all of the obstacles the route gives you along the way. There's no turning back, no cheat codes–I like that.

I hope you've enjoyed the photos and the short report. Embrace the weather and go for a ride no matter what's outside. In any way it's good for you.
